As many of you know, SAK’D has been a passion project years in the making — built with love, late nights, limited funds, and the occasional existential coffee binge. And while we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, we’re going to be real with you:
We’re woefully underfunded, and making a game like this — especially one with hand-drawn animation, magic systems, puzzles, and full exploration — takes a lot of time, energy, and financial support.
We’ve had amazing moments of encouragement (huge shoutout to the incredible supporter who gave our GoFundMe a boost last year 💚), but we haven’t seen a new donation since. And we get it — times are tough, attention spans are short, and every indie game is shouting into the same void.
