It’s been a wild few weeks behind the scenes at SAK’D HQ, and we figured it was time to pause the chaos (just for a second) and share all the amazing progress we’ve made. If you’ve been wondering what we’ve been up to lately — the short answer is: A LOT.

Gashodokuro Says Hi (and Then Immediately Tries to Kill You)
Let’s start with the big bones — literally.
The final boss of the demo, the towering skeletal nightmare known as Gashodokuro, is finally here — and yes, it’s as intense as it sounds. Our team has been hard at work tightening the fight mechanics, adding cinematic flair, and turning this into the kind of battle that makes you sweat in the best way possible.
The cherry on top? A pulse-pounding original score by our music wizard Brandon Vix. His adrenaline-charged soundtrack during the Gashodokuro fight will have you dodging, swinging, and spell-slinging in rhythm.
So Many Fixes, Tweaks, and Delicious Little Details
We’ve been quietly (and sometimes loudly) crunching through dozens of improvements lately, making the SAK’D demo tighter, smoother, and even more fun to explore. Here’s just a glimpse at what we’ve been working on:

⚡ New lightning magic effects — more crackle, more impact, more zap!

🦴 Gashodokuro boss fight now fully playable with updated intro animations and refined hit detection

🧌 Improved enemy hit reactions for more satisfying combat feedback

🎮 Major controller tweaks for more responsive platforming

🗺️ Added subtle level navigation cues to improve flow and exploration

🔊 New sound effects and polished audio transitions for better atmosphere

🛡️ Balance tweaks to enemy difficulty and player stamina

🧠 Fixed some long-standing AI pathfinding issues (RIP wall-stuck goblins)

🧙♂️ General bug squashing, spell rebalancing, and UI polish

💥 Final demo now includes cinematic camera adjustments and smoother boss transitions
And that’s just the highlight reel — every update brings us closer to delivering a tight, fun, and memorable experience from start to finish.
